Around the mine towering skyscrapers soar for as many as 300 stories into the air. The city's silhouette slowly descends to more normal heights until at the perimeter of the city (which sprawls out like a spider web in every direction) the buildings are single story homes. The architecture throughout the city seems to work on three basic principles - #1, anything that can be made of metal, should be. #2, moving or mechanically functioning parts should be exposed everywhere. #3 Mimic the decorating styles of old Cheldrun art, but in a heavy handed way.
Old Cheldrun Art looks and feels very much like Art Nouveau. Here are some examples of what building silhouettes in Geneva Prime might look like, except dirtier, darker, and made of metal:

Now imagine that this kind of architecture has been mixed with an uber-industrial/mechanical function. So you have buildings like these, but with smoke stacks and pipes and lights like these:

Now imagine that all that industry and mining for the last 200 years has polluted the city and taken a toll so that all of the buildings are completely covered in soot, the paint is peeling, and they have been attacked with graffiti etc... so that they have an aspect similar to this:

On the inside, the buildings are full of features like these:
