Rei's Legacy

The Gogajin might have written this for Rei:

Rei, she was a wee lass
Who thought that we were too crass
She stood up to our women
Who put Kiyoshi's head a-swimmin'
And now she's lyin' on her ass!

Stacia, God help us all, you've gone and inspired me. I went and wrote a series of limericks. One for each character. :D

------------------

A lovely assassin named Rei
Disdained any romps in the hay
And when Gogajin lads
Felt that stir in their... hearts
She disgustedly turned them away.

But High-Dive was up for some fun
With the Gogajin there 'neath the sun
And the Gogajin learned
To be rightly concerned
By what Zipsum girls thought of as 'fun.'

Mokuzai sat all alone
And he voiced a cantankerous groan
In love with the moon,
and his song out of tune,
He sat there alone and unknown.

Kiyoshi, the young all-skin lad
a-drunkenly 'scaped being had
and what haunted him most
was the Gogajin boast
that in bed he was really quite bad.

Now Moses was less of a prick
And his body was built like a brick
When the Eyeless arose
As an army of foes
He beat them all down with his... fists.

Then Una, with eyes full of tears
Brought healing, and soothed all our fears
When asked why she cried
Said her people had died...
And she hadn't got any in years.

As regards Mokuzai's verse: it is annoyingly difficult to write a proper limerick about a really old and cranky fox-man. O_o
